Web Design Artist Work Curating Chronological Hilites

Hilites
Why Hilite?: It's pretty and it's new.
As this newly launched site for Janice Jackson, Soprano, will be updated by the client, an elegant simplicity was called for. This was (I hope) achieved by making good use of the studio shots Janice has been using in her PR.

Why Hilite?: it's fun and I want to do more
I created this slightly-animated site to profile the exhibition "How it Shows: recent Atlantic media art" that I curated for Edge Intermedia in St. John's. I took the opportunity to work in FLASH for this site as animation is fun and this site needs no updating.

Why Hilite?: it's got three million links and great info
This site, however simple looking, is quite involved. The information on Nova Scotia as a historic destination is integrated into the web site for Nova Scotia Tourism. Those who wish to travel here and see our Black historic roots can use thr NS travel tools to find their destination.

Why Hilite?: It's the other side of my life

Incomplete Dislocations is a series of projects by a collective of Halifax new media artists. I've been the founding coordinator and curator of this ongoing project since 1996. Our focus is to create and exhibit interactive art in Halifax. This site was made by Andrew Quon.

Why Hilite?: I made this live in front of an audience
Pascale Malaterre and I teamed up to put the spirit of John Cage into timeless cyberspace as a part of the evening event - A Homage to John Cage - by Ensemble Music Contemporain in Montréal. The site was created live during the performance and is in French.

Why Hilite?: It's a beautiful way to exhibit photos
This "virtual exhibition" entitled Holidays and Celebrations uses FLASH to animate the display of historical photographs. The Picture Viewer allows you to zoom in on an image. This project was done in collaboration with Philippe Corriveau (design) and Tomek Zemla (programming) both of tofubox™.
