Time to Heal, a project of P.E.I. Services for Adult Survivors of Sexual Abuse and Sexual Assault (SAS), is an award-winning video about women Survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The script was developed directly from journal writings of Survivors, who were involved in the project from beginning to end.

The Survivors speak powerfully and honestly about the abuse they survived as children, its ongoing conseqeunces, and what they now need in order to heal. These stories are accompanied by strong but gentle visuals which draw the viewer into the past experiences recalled by the Survivors.

Through interviews with feminist therapists and advocates, a Charlottetown Psychiatrist and through the Survivors own words, the viewer learns more about sexual abuse and the process of healing. The video makes a clear argument for specialized non-medical healing environments for Survivors of abuse.

You can obtain a copy of Time to Heal from one of the following three sources. The first on the list, Moving Images Distribution, covers both Canadian and American markets. There are three sale rates for Time to Heal:
* Institutional Rate
* Group Rate
* Individual Professional Rate

The Institutional Rate applies to Hospitals, Professional Associations, Libraries, Educational Institutions and any other group of people recognized as an institution. This price applies for the first copy only.

The Group Rate applies to small groups such as a group of therapists, doctors working together in private practice, therapy groups and other small groups who will share the tape with themselves and with others for educational or therapeutic purposes.

The Individual Professional Rate is the lowest rate and is available to Professionals in private practice or others who purchase the tape for individual (home) use.

Check with one of the above distributors for specific information on sale price which may vary from time to time.
